We hate to be the bearer of disappointing news, but the fans of Katrina Kaif better reconcile to the fact that the pretty actress may not have a single movie releasing this year. Yes, that despite her being busy shooting for two big projects.

Dhoom 3, co-starring Aamir Khan, is slated for a Christmas release, but we hear the film might unfortunately be postponed due to delay in its shoots, thanks to Aamir’s unrelenting streak for perfection. Though the delay hasn’t been made official by Yash Raj Films, the banner’s spokesperson also doesn’t confirm the film’s release date.

Another film of Katrina Kaif that the fans were looking forward to is Bang Bang, which has hit an unexpected bump with the head injury and consequent surgery of the film’s leading man Hrithik Roshan for a clot in the brain. Since Hrithik isn’t expected to return to work for a month or even two, the film’s next schedule stands postponed, and its release inevitably delayed.

This year, Katrina Kaif has so far been seen in a cameo in the anthology film Bombay Talkies. She starred in two back-to-back blockbusters last year in the form of Ek Tha Tiger and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The year 2013, however, may go dry. Even if Dhoom 3 releases on its scheduled time, it would be just five days before 2013 clocks out.

However, the pretty 29-year-old needn’t fret over going unemployed. There’s no dearth of film offers for her and she can always make use of a welcome break to catch up on family time in London.
