Ever since she ventured into Bollywood, Sonakshi Sinha has held on to her modest on screen garbs like a bird guarding her nest. But it looks like the actress is finally letting go. Insiders say in her upcoming item number in Akshay Kumar's next, Sona is expected to send the mercury rising by donning a slinky short dress.

A source says, `Sonakshi will be at her seductive best.`

Apparently it was Akshay who convinced Sona to go bold. `In spite of her having had reservation about her appearances in the past, she signed up for it. She felt it would be a good get-away from her regular desi image.

Tanya Ghavri, who has styled for Sonam Kapoor and Asin in the past, is said to have designed the actress' costume. Sona will also be donning another shiny, sexy grey number in the track. The actress had gone for gold even in her item song in Sajid Khan's Himmatwala.

The music track will also feature Prabhudheva.
