Director Kaizad Gustad’s movie ‘Jackpot’ is releasing today and the director had invited Katrina Kaif for the premiere last night. But the actress didn’t attend it.

Let us remind you that it was Kaizad Gustad who gave Katrina her first break in B-Town with his film ‘Boom’.

An insider said, “Kaizad has been trying to contact Katrina for the last couple of days. He has messaged and called her but she hasn’t responded at all.”

But then Kaizad cleared the air and said, “I have not invited Katrina personally. The event management company may have contacted her and sent her an invite. It’s common courtesy to invite everybody in the film industry so they would have sent out a whole bunch of invites.” He stresses that he hasn’t talked to her, “I am not in touch with her at all.”

A source close to the actress says, “Katrina had cancelled her meetings yesterday for a brand meeting plus script PPM for an ad she is shooting next week. Her office received an invite for the premiere but nobody has called her personally. Anyway, she doesn’t go for any trials and premieres of any films, even her own as she gets very nervous and edgy. She may attend some trials of stars but she doesn’t watch the entire film. She went for ‘Ship Of Theseus’ but went during the end and was hardly there for a few minutes.”

Looks like Kat is not interested in attending premieres, be it for her film or someone else’s
